Description
Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
Upon landing at JKIA Airport, you will be met by Kedi Trail Representative who will give you a briefing concerning your safari. He will introduce you to your guide who will take you through the safari.
You will then drive to Amboseli National Park. The ecosystem here is mainly Savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Masai and enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
You will arrive at Amboseli Kibo Safari Tented Camp for lunch with a game drive en route. You will also go for an afternoon game drive at 4pm and return to the lodge in the evening for dinner.
Day 2: Amboseli
- Have an early morning Game drive
- Return for breakfast
- Freshen up and later a Mid-morning Game Drive
- Have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure like swimming in the pool
- More game drives in the evening in search of more animals
- Dinner and overnight at the Tented Camp
Day 3: Amboseli - Aberdares
Morning breakfast and then drive to Aberdare via Nairobi.
You will arrive in time for lunch at The Ark Game Lodge.
Later in the afternoon, after lunch, you will have a game drive at Aberdare National Park.
You will later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Aberdare - Lake Nakuru
Morning breakfast and then drive to Lake Nakuru.
You will arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru flamingo Hill Tented Camp.
About Lake Nakuru:
The park lies in Central Kenya, 140km north-west of Nairobi, in Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.
Later, you will return for Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara
After breakfast, you will depart for Maasai Mara one of Africa's Greatest Wildlife Reserves You will arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge.
About Maasai Mara:
Maasai Mara is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa's Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa's most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world's top safari big game viewing eco-system. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs, and the annual migration of Thomson's gazelle and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Afternoon game drives after lunch and later in the evening return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Maasai Mara
Alternative I:
Morning breakfast and exit the Lodge with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara National Reserve in search of the Big 5.
You will later return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Alternative II:
- Have an early morning Game drive.
- Return for breakfast.
- Freshen up and later a Mid morning Game Drive.
- Have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
- More game drives in the evening in search of more animals.
- Dinner and overnight at the LODGE.
Alternative III:
You can ALSO choose a morning Balloon ride in the early morning where you will be picked up from your lodge and transferred you to the balloon launch site. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. The actual ride starts at 6am. The pilot controls the altitude of your balloon: Sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife that is below.
Day 7: Maasai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast you will drive back to Nairobi where you will spend the day at leisure with optional activities depending on your flight schedule. Later you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel in Nairobi.
This itineraries can be fully customized to include your choice of Lodges/ Camps with additional nights and extra light aircraft transfer flights, with optional night drives and bush walks.

- Flying Doctor Service. This caters only for evacuation to reputable hospitals but does not cover hospital bills.
